BAFTX Awards Ceremony 2024

Thursday April 25th 2024 at the Junior League of Houston

More than 250 guests celebrated the accomplishments of 123 college-bound Texas students benefiting from $600,000 in scholarships from BAFTX on a mission to provide educational support to gifted, financially-challenged Texas students to achieve their dreams of a U.S. college education.

Saturday March 2nd 2024 at the Junior League of Houston

What fun we had! The Future certainly is Bright with support from these ladies as we continue to invest in education for young Texan students. We raised $50,000, drank champagne, danced the afternoon away and all wished to win a weekend drive in a Porsche. Another fabulous event.

Another glittering evening of fun and fundraising in aid of education in Texas.

We had a fabulous evening with our 2023 Gala Co-Chairs, Nancy and Lamar McKay, benefactors, board, supporters, scholars and friends, raising funds to keep our next generation of leaders, engineers, entrepreneurs and professionals in education, ensuring that they can graduate and start to build careers.

We raised an incredible $1,000,000, a record for the British American Foundation of Texas.

Junior Achiever Recognition Event 2022

This summer, BAFTX is sending 22 young people from Texas to the UK for 2 weeks to participate in the British Studies Summer Program. BAFTX held an event to pass on information about this program, answer questions and of course celebrate the achievements of these outstanding young people who have won a spot on this very selective program.
