THE UK to Texas AWARD

The UK to Texas award is intended for students enrolled full time at University in the UK to study at undergraduate level in Texas.

Purpose Of The Award

General Description Of The Award

Tuition-only scholarships awarded for study during the Fall semester at college in Texas.  

Requirements

Applicants must:

  • Be enrolled in full time education at University in the UK;

  • Be aged 18 or above;

  • Come from a low income household;

  • Study Science, Technology, Engineering, Math or Business;

  • Maintain a 2i average grade;

  • Be in possession of a valid passport or eligible to receive one.

Applicants need to provide:

  • Applicants need to complete an application form (click on the link below) and upload the following to it:

    • Academic transcript - official or unofficial;

    • Essay: Please submit an essay of between 400 and 450 words. "Describe your educational and career goals and why you need a scholarship from BAFTX to achieve them. Excluding financial needs, what are the most significant challenges you expect to face in successfully completing college. How will you overcome these challenges?"

    Please note that the deadline for applications is 12pm UK time on March 31st and we cannot accept incomplete or late forms.
